Boston Red Sox infielder Eduardo Nunez is getting the start at third base for Saturday's game versus the Atlanta Braves.
What It Means:
With a lefty toeing the rubber in the Braves' Sean Newcomb, the right-handed hitting Nunez will step in for Rafael Devers, who heads to the bench. In his return to the lineup, Nunez hits seventh this afternoon.
On the year, Nunez is averaging 7.5 FanDuel points per game with a .249/.267/.370 slash line. He costs $2,800 at the second base spot.
Boston Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia will make his first start of the year Saturday against the Atlanta Braves.
What It Means:
Pedroia has been out after undergoing offseason knee surgery. He was activated Friday but did not appear in the game. Tonight, he'll replace Brock Holt at second base, hitting sixth against Atlanta's Sean Newcomb.
At $3,000, Pedroia is projected for 6.7 FanDuel points in today's debut.
