3 Daily Fantasy Basketball Value Plays for the Two-Day 5/27/16 and 5/28/16 Slate

As the Cavaliers and Thunder try to close out their series, which low-cost players can you target for fantasy?

With only one game apiece on both Friday and Saturday, daily fantasy contests that begin today include both nights.

One of the keys to finding success in daily fantasy basketball is uncovering potential value plays. If you're looking to roster a stud player or two, you'll need to find one of these lower-priced options to squeeze everyone into your lineup.

Let's take a look at three guys who can help fill the gaps in your lineup.

Serge Ibaka, PF, Oklahoma City Thunder

FanDuel Price: $5,200

Serge Ibaka has been incredibly consistently this series. He has now scored at least five times his cost (points per $1,000 in salary) in five of the last six games. He is averaging 25.9 fantasy points per game in the series against the Warriors.

Last night's game was close the entire way for the first time since Game 1. The close contest resulted in Ibaka's playing 40 minutes on his way to 27.1 fantasy points.

Ibaka is seeing reliable playing time and is producing in those minutes. He most likely won't erupt for 40-plus fantasy points, but between his scoring, rebounds, and a few blocks, his floor is high for anyone priced around $5,000.

Andre Roberson, SG, Oklahoma City Thunder

FanDuel Price: $3,900

Andre Roberson has been the surprise contributor for the Thunder recently. After going off for 50 fantasy points in Game 4, Roberson followed it up with 20.7 fantasy points in Game 5. While there was a major drop off in production, he is still priced at $3,900, so anything over 20 fantasy points is over five times his price tag.

Roberson has been gaining confidence on offense, and that was clearly shown in the beginning of the game as he seemed to be all over the court and took three shots in the opening minutes. In the five games of the series, he is averaging 24.3 fantasy points, but in the last three games, Roberson has been contributing 31.1 points per game.

Andre Iguodala, SF, Golden State Warriors

FanDuel Price: $4,300

Like Ibaka, Andre Iguodala has been very consistent. He is averaging 22.3 fantasy points in the series, which is 5.2 times his current salary. Also like Ibaka, Iguodala won't erupt for 40-plus fantasy points, but he will provide you a level of safety and savings to spend elsewhere.

Iguodala is averaging just over six shots in the series on his way to nine points per game. He also grabs three rebounds and dishes out just under four assists per game. The balanced effort has proven valuable for Iguodala, as he is producing 0.74 fantasy points per minute. Despite three blowout games, he is averaging 30.2 minutes per game.
