Lions' T.J. Jones' playing time likely reduced with Kenny Golladay healthy
Detroit Lions wide receiver T.J. Jones is expected to see his playing time reduced with Kenny Golladay no longer on the injury report.
Jones stepped in as the number three wideout in Detroit with the rookie Golladay sidelined for 5 games. While Golladay was eased back in last week, playing just 11 snaps, he is fully healthy entering Week 11 and will pass up Jones on the receiving pecking order.
Our models project Jones for 2.0 catches, 26.2 yards, and 0.2 touchdowns for 4.7 FanDuel points against the Chicago Bears on Sunday.
Brandon Coleman seeing his role diminish in New Orleans
New Orleans Saints wide receiver Brandon Coleman has seen his role in the offense diminish over the last four weeks.
Since playing 54 snaps in Week 7, Coleman has seen his playing time reduce each week bottoming out at 29 snaps played last week. Michael Thomas, Ted Ginn, and Willie Snead all saw more playing time against the Buffalo Bills.
Our models project Coleman for just 1.6 catches, 23.2 yards, and 0.2 touchdowns for 4.4 FanDuel points against the Washington Redskins in Week 11.
A.J. Derby (shoulder) ruled out for Week 11 by Denver
Denver Broncos tight end A.J. Derby (shoulder) has been ruled out for Sunday's game versus the Cincinnati Bengals.
Derby missed practice all week with a shoulder injury he suffered in Week 10's loss to the New England Patriots. With Derby and Jeff Heuerman sidelined this week, Virgil Green will take on an expanded role as the only healthy tight end on the Broncos' roster.
Derby has 19 catches for 224 yards and 2 touchdowns in 9 games this season.
Virgil Green set to see an increased role for Broncos in Week 11
Denver Broncos tight end Virgil Green is in line for an expanded role in Week 11 due to injuries.
With fellow tight ends A.J. Derby and Jeff Heuerman ruled out for Sunday's contest against the Cincinnati Bengals, Green is the only healthy tight end remaining on the Broncos roster. While the blocking tight end already leads Denver in snaps, he is in line to see a few extra targets in Week 11. Green has 9 catches for 120 yards and a touchdown in 9 games this season.
Our models project Green for 1.3 catches, 18.5 yards, and 0.2 touchdowns for 3.5 FanDuel points on Sunday.
Marcedes Lewis (knee) removed from Jaguars' injury report
Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Marcedes Lewis (knee) has been removed from the team's injury report.
Lewis was limited in practice all week with a knee injury but will play on Sunday. The tight end gets a favorable matchup with the Cleveland Browns who allow the second-most points to opposing tight ends.
Our models project Lewis for 1.5 catches, 19.0 yards, and 0.2 touchdowns for 3.8 FanDuel points in Week 11.
Tampa's O.J. Howard projected to out-snap Cameron Brate in Week 11
Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end O.J. Howard is projected to play more snaps than Cameron Brate for the third straight week on Sunday.
Despite Brate having a dominant lead over Howard regarding production, the rookie tight end continues to see more playing time than Brate, out-snapping him 50 to 33 in Week 10. That trend is expected to continue in Week 11 with Howard seeing 67.2% of plays while Brate plays just over 50%.
Our models project Howard for 1.5 catches, 17.9 yards, and 0.3 touchdowns for 4.2 FanDuel points against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday.
